Africa // Tanzania
We will push ourselves to new heights and climb Africa’s highest mountain – Kilimanjaro. In Tanzania, we will experience both nature and culture, and meet one of the exciting local communities.
The autumn will be filled with a myriad of different activities. You will climb sharp peaks in Jotunheimen, go kayaking in the steep and dramatic Nærøyfjord, and experience the ice on the Svellnos glacier. Norway's highest mountain, Galdhøpiggen, will offer spectacular views! Feel the adrenaline rush as you raft down the river in Sjoa, or the achievement of having climbed one of the nearby mountain cliffs. Most of the trips involve camping. When the weather is at its best, we will sleep under the starry sky after an evening around the campfire.

My name is Marte, and I am the program instructor for Outdoor Life Adventure. Do you dream of evenings around the campfire, wonderful nature experiences in the Norwegian wilderness, and exploring Jotunheimen with good friends? We will show you how to live life in close contact with nature and other people.
I have a bachelor's degree in outdoor life at Sogn og Fjordane University College, and a one year program in natural sciences. I have also been a student and research fellow at Hallingdal Folkehøgskole.
Prices
Food and Lodging
NOK 83 000,-
The sum covers food and lodging as long as the school is open.
General Expenses
NOK 16 000,-
The sum covers equipment rental, copying, electives, core subjects and group trips.
Program Expenses
NOK 55 000,-
The sum covers all domestic and international trips, activities, instructors and equipment rental.
What does it really cost?
